Money is funny. Not in the ha ha kind of way, but with the economy and some lifestyle choices, we all at one time or another get bogged down with trying to make ends meet. Take me for example, I have a car payment at 378 a month. A truck payment at 388 a month, two bike payments, and a house payment. I hear you on living from paycheck to paycheck. I make 45,000 a year and I still have to juggle bills from time to time, Buying a house and having a family, it gets a little overwhelming sometimes. I have 8 or 9 payments left on the truck, and 14 left on the 2002 Camry, and that will free up almost 800 a month. I'm actually excited about paying off a vehicle, this will be the first time in 20 years that I have paid a vehicle off and not traded it in and started the madness all over again. Sometimes we forget to pay the most important thing first.....ourselves. Don't get too down man, we all can improve in our choices sometimes, and time and unforseen things do happen, but you gotta roll with the punches. Whatever you do, you can always talk to us here.

well here's the prob with stretching the loan. this was my first loan ever..so they would only give me a 2 year term because i had no credit. it was basically just a loan to prove myself. i guess i could go to the bank and see if they can stretch it now. but this'll be my 3rd payment on the 16th. hmm..i'll have to check that out

Oh I forgot to mention, my brother in law made close to 400,000 last year and I overheard him say once to his wife, be careful with the checkbook, we don't get paid for another week. So its all relative.

The problem that people have with money is as follows: "People spend money they don't have for stuff they don't need to impress people they don't like!" You remember that I taught you that!

If you try selling the bike at the end of the season, it will be hard to get any money out of it. The market gets saturated, and that drives down prices. Figure on getting 30 to 40% less than book if you sell near the end of the season.

By that same token - if you try buying a bike at the start of next season - the prices are artificially driven up, the market gets short, and you will be paying more than whatever new bike is truly worth.

If you have had the loan for at least 6 months and made on-time payment - go re-visit the bank and re-fi it again for 2 years, or even 3. They will let you so long as you have 6 monsth on the books. Pick up a 2nd job, or find one that is paying a bit better. Cut down some of your other expenses if you can. Your bike payments and insurance are dirt cheap... honestly. Good luck.
