Looking at a 05 ZX10-R or a 07 GSXR 750. Will be using the bike for crusing on highways and occasional drag/street racing, on closed road of course. Which one is the over-all best bang for your buck? Both have around 4300 miles, same price and both are stock.

I've heard the Gxxr is a very well sorted bike; does about everything well. Probably a better pure track bike for several reasons, including parts availability, handling, mods, etc. BUT, if I was buying, I'd go with the 10. More HP, serious pucker above 8K, and free membership on the best internet forum!

 

i know for a fact owning a 05 zx10r. hands down smoking the gixxterd 750 all day. if you want ungodlly aceleration git the 10r. garrenteed ticket or dirty shorts.....lol

 

gotta luv that pucker factor on a well tuned ride.

 

bro when i got off the 10r after opening it up after break in the first time, i was shaking from pure adrenlin pumping....lol it's truly amazing how much the 04/05 accelerated so quick. a $10,000 SPORTbike smoking $50,000 ZO6 corvettes old men hate that....lol
