I remember riding home from san francisco along the coast at night after meeting up with some friends. On the way home it was in the low 30's. I had forgoten my jacket liner and had on some thin gloves. Man that was a really really cold ride home.

That way cold. Burr! Hopefully I can get out of Pittsburgh if I get this job in Pheonix and ride all year . It's going to suck to see the bike sitting all winter.

Yea its pretty rough here, no traffic, no crime, unless you count the occasional dog on the lose without a collar, no road rage, no pollution, no crowds, yea its brutal. 2 miles to anywhere, I would not trade it for anything. The long way home is on a trail or back road, what an adventure!! I better shut it before everyone wants to sell thier ninjas and get a KLX and move here.[8D]
Ha that's funny, this morning on the way in to the store I go to change into the rt lane and at the same time the guy behind me goes too. So I guess he thinks I cut him off so he comes around me and stays in my lane thinking it will scare me or something.
I hold my line, I drive a large f250 super duty with an 8 ft bed, rolling punishment for who ever wants to run into me.
So he starts cutting hard into and out of my lane trying to scare me again. The 3rd time he comes in I roll down my window and let my venti coffee fly into his passenger window. Splash, he was pissed.
I just started laughing at him and gestering, dam I wish his window was open.
He starts flowing me and is motioning he is on the phone, like who is he calling the chp lol!. Anyway, he finally drops back at the 241 toll both probably wanting to report me I just roll on laughing inside.
He was in a brand new silver dodge trk. What a tool!

Sorry for the long story I just thought it was funny.

Man it was 38 degrees this morning, its amazing how fast things change from one day to the next.
38 here this morning as well and raining even had to light the fire for the first time this year I guess its wood cutting time again got to get it ready for next winter.
wood is all I have to heat my house, no heaters or gas just wood [&:]
Yea we have a wood stove insert I bought a few years ago, and there is firewood everywhere. Something about wood heat, its just better, half of the time we have the front door open because the house is like 80, but its all good right? I just don't like all the dust, you know me and dirt.[8D]
My dad always said wood was the most efficient because it heated you 3 times. Cutting, splitting, burning.

I never thought it was very funny when doing the first two, but the burning part was always pretty good.

My Motor-Sergeant in Korea had a Harley Sportster 883. He rode that sucker year round, and it gets COLD in Korea, I'm talking about -10 degrees ambient temp. That dude was dedicated!
