Default for those with multiple dogs

Ive got 2 dogs right now....a black lab and a german short haired pointer. My buddy's dog had puppys bout 5 weeks ago and I have the oportunity to pick one or 2 of them up for cheap. Their pure bred female boxer puppys. Ive been debating it for a while and he wants to know soon if ima take one or more. So am I nuts? Ive got about a acre of yard for them to run in. Oh and I grew up in a house with multiple dogs.

The two breeds of dogs that you have are tolerant with introducing other animals into the family. If you have the room as mentioned and love dogs, try it. I tried introducing a boxer with my other two pits. Was a no go for me.

I gotta say....my black lab is a pushover. He doesnt care about anything else about having food and water. my female is the pointer...shes VERY protective around me....protects the house...ect. But come to think of it....she didnt have a problem when she stayed with my mom and her 2 dogs for a while and didnt have a problem when i brought my lab home.

the two dogs you have should be fine. I moved in with my parents that have two golden retreivers, (I know friendly dogs, but they hate puppies because they snapped at my pit) well the goldens took my boxer in well. Now my boxer rules the house. Also, boxers are great dogs and they say they dont' need a whole alot of play time (running) well false for my dog. She runs around the pool and the whole house like 20 times and still has a ton of energy, but they are fun dogs.

Very stubborn dogs lol.

If you've got the room and the means to care for them - I say go for it! I've got two dogs and if I could afford more of them - I'd definately have a couple more!
