Actually it's the opposite. The main jet in the stage 1 kit that has been installed is too large and keeps flooding the bike and fouling the plugs.

And who made the voodoo doll of my ex?? After dealing with the house stuff all day, I was nervous about the bike being out on it's exhaust can this week and went to talk to him. I told him I had tried to make arrangements and that the apts don't have anymore garages. So I offered to pay the next month's rent if he'll let me stay until I close on the house, which will be mid-August. I close three weeks from this Friday.

OMG, [sm=groupwave.gif] He agreed!!!!!!! I thanked him, told him I appreciated him being nice and cooperating with me on this. I'll make the check out to the apartments for the rent for the garage next month. At least my bike is safe. It doesn't get me entirely free of him, but I'd rather deal with him than having my bike stolen. So whoever poked him in the head/heart/wherever made him be nice for a few minutes, thanks bunches! I figured he'd pitch a fit and tell me to get out today. I was so worried I'd lose my home for the bike. But he seemed to be in a decent mood. I even got to see the dog for a couple of minutes and get some puppy kisses!!! (I still miss Codi like crazy)

One down (garage), one to go(House!)!!

Thanks Ian.

Maybe he's realizing just how much I paid for when we were together and the money will come in handy. I'm just glad he's being agreeable about it. We won't be friends by any means, but at least we're getting along on this issue, for this very moment, lol.

Best of luck to ya VV. I know waiting til Aug will be tough, but as long as he's lightened up a bit, ride with it. He'll get his one day, maybe you can be lucky enough to see him get it too!~!!!

Yeah well this is the FIRST time he's been civil about it. Normally, he's off the deep end and not willing to negotiate. He was actually nice again today. Go figure. I take it an hour at a time! LOL

I feel ya VV. Sounds like he is missing out on a good person by being so mean to you, but it's his loss. Keep your head up, take it day by day and it will be over soon. Once you get out of there, don't have to look back.

Yeah I just can't be mean to him, not even in return. He's been nice lately, but I never know when that might change. Last night he went riding (after telling me he's likely selling the bike. Sad to see it go, especially for the new gf, but it's his choice) and we had two REALLY AWFUL rainstorms later that night. Knocked the power out for a little bit and I had about eight inches of rain in my chair on the balcony in just 20 minutes of this storm.

I actually worried about him. I thought about calling to check on him, see if he needed a ride home, but figured it's not my concern anymore. He's 30 yrs old, he has to take care of himself. But I still worry about him. I don't want to hurt him or see anything bad happen to him. I just want to move on with my life. I'm better off being alone.

Good for you for NOT making that call to him. You are right, he's on his own now, let him make it by himself. You just concentrate on VV and getting your life back on track. As I have said before, he will get his in the end. you just play things cool until you make your move and DON'T LOOK BACK. Keep it moving! We will help you through this rough patch in your life. It will be alright VV
