Last time I took my folks jeep- the crank pulley slipped off of the Harmonic dampener and made me hitch-hike back to town

Im looking at the Tacoma as well...the dual cab 06 or brand new....i like the prerunner, but i think its only 4X2...and I really want 4X4...although i could be wrong..still nice tho

I just bought the 03 Tacoma Prerunners come in 4x4 or 4x2 I thought about it (a loooong time)
Most of the driving I do (95%) only requires 2wd So, having 2wd with the rear locking differential is ideal for 100% of what I do.
So, no sense in having 4wd... higher insurance and more parts that could go bad ... My insurance is expensive as it is- 150.00 a month [:@]

i'm in sunny california- no snow where I live- only 4wd recommened areas i travel to is Mt. Shasta (didn't even go this year) and a special short cut to Bucks Lake that isn't entirely necessary for me to take ...
