Yeah the story just sucks, but hopefully we will all remember this and will watch out for our own kids in situations like that. Even good parents make mistakes.

They should have done this or that won't change this situation. Its just an accident. Not all accidents can be prevented. "I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all." Having an 11 year old son, every time I hear about stuff like this it just makes me love an cherish my own son even more. That my friends is the only good thing that comes from a tragedy like this.
