Default So i was on my way to work this morning....

I drive down a few back roads to get to work, a car barely fits beside me on these roads when im in my truck. Kinda narrow... So i was daydreaming again, and today a thought struck me.... When we ride in the dirt on trails, sometimes there are trees just wider than the bars, and we are flying down these trails at 25-30 mph... trees whizzing by... up hills i couldnt walk down or up, sharp turns and all the sense of riding a dirt bike hit me when i was in my truck on this narrow road... What would be equavalent to riding in the dirt in a vehicle.... mmmm.... Maybe a road thats just a little wider than the truck, obsticals just wider than the mirrors and going like 40-50mph.... that would be nutz... but we do it all the time on bikes.... I dont think road racers are in the same category, they just go ***** to the wall fast.. but they dont deal with trees, i rode a few times in the woods with a motocrosser, to my surprise rocks and trees freaked them out.... thinking to my self WTF your a racer.... Track racer, takes a different breed to trail ride/race. I get to thinking how fast we rode up in the allegheny national forest.. insane stuff.. knarly, rocky, rooty, anything.... and on some straight aways i looked down we are going 35 ish.... It would just be crazy doing the equvalent in a car that we do on bikes.... if this doesnt make sense to you dont mind me. My mind jumps around weird, and usually think way differently than most....
