Default Sick of snow. Time to move south...

I can't bear the thought of having to look at this and deal with it for the next 3.5 months. We have had snow a week, and I am already tired of it. Maybe if I lived in an area where I could actually do some snowmobiling, it wouldn't be so bad - but there simply is no way to do it in Illinois, especially this close to Chicago.

Last night I went out with my riding buddies - we went to catch "I Am Legend" (great movie right up to the end), and had to park like 10 miles away from the theatre... walking back to the car with all this crap storm we had in Chicago last night... 25 mph winds blasting snow into your face, people who can't drive in snow (I grew up in the UP of Michigan and took my drivers test in a snowstorm ), 5 layers of clothing, scraping windows... all that crap... it's for the birds. Or at least the penguins.

So... I've had it.

I am open to suggestions... where should I go, and why?

Except don't you have to get a permit just to fart down there? I mean aren't they trying to ban all small engines in California?[8D] I'm just yanking your chain man, besides on Monday my wife's brother and his family are moving from Washington to San Diego, and since I have never been to Cali, I'm actually looking forward to visiting them there someday.

Hey Sro, you could move to Washington, and do a transfer to a small town somewhere and buy a KLX and we could hook up for a dual sport ride somewhare...I'm just saying.

Finger are you serious? That would be an adventure for sure. Go for it man, and organize a dual sport ride.

Or right across the water you could move to the Olympic Peninsula, but again the rain. 140 inches a year isn't that bad is it?
