Default sad news

well i read kev's post and i wanted to share something with you. a week ago one guy died of bike crash in my town. he had zx6rr ninja '03. and he crashed into the car and then hit with his head into metal object beside the road. he had a lot of heavy injures and the doctros had to plug him off the instruments because there was no point in keepin him in that condition alive. he had a helmet but... he was 23 years old. so sad

Thats sad news man, but a blunt reality check for the rest of us... that no matter how long or little we been riding it can happen at any time the best we can do is never get confortable on or bikes and stay as alert as possible. Gear up ride safe not stupid and live to tell about our mistakes to help the new riders and remind the old ones.

RIP fallen rider.

Around here the big thing (seeing as we don't get to ride year round) cagers have roughly 4-6 months to forget about watching out for bikes. There was a fatality back in January (I think -- we had some awesome weather for a bit where it was warm enough to ride), a garbage truck pulled out in front of a bike and the bike crashed into it, couldn't stop fast enough due to sand on the roads. There was another accident about a month or so ago, car pulled out in front of a bike, he ended up losing the bike and it crashed into the car - rider was okay though.

Gotta really be extra careful early in the season. Be safe everyone!

i don't want to sound like i don't care cause i do.... things like that happen.... and like lemac said "never get comfortable on the bike"... but we all do from time to time.... but let just keep a good head on our shoulder and stay alert.... gear helps alot, knowing what to do helps just as much.... ride safe brothers and sisters....

please listen to the seasoned riders and were good ful gear!!! three things get more riders hurt than anything.
1 riding over their head, excessive speed in wrong areas.
2 getting to comfortable
3 other poeples stupid actions, riders need to look and think ahead to avoid what they can

want to go fast go to track/drag strip at least nothing is going to jump in front of you just rider error here
