As of yet there has been no release on the cause and it will take at leasta few weeks to investigate, so speculating doesnt do any good. My thoughts and prayers are with their friends and family.

 

That does hit close to home. When I was at Spartan I saw a few crashes and some close calls. In fact my instructor had to put a plane down in a field due to a loss of an engine in a 152. My thoughts and prayers go out to there families.
