I was in the same boat about two years ago, I had fines, dui classes, aaa meetings, probation period, three year bench, suspended license for 6 months, restricted for another 6, increased insurance rates, unable to go back to working for the State. Let me tell you I learned and will not repeat these mistakes, though it was rough I feel good that I went through this learning experience. Hang in there things will get better if you want them to.
