Women work on the one point system, whether you buy her a 2 carat diamond ring, or one single rose, they have the same emotional intensity. Granted, for special occasions, you should get her a nice gift. But for little " lets make up gifts ", a small meaningful gift has the same effect as a large expensive one. To a women it's the meaning that counts and has nothing to do with it's cost. A rose = 1 point........A diamond = 1 point.
We men think that women are like us, for instance, if your wife bought you a new shirt, you would say thanks baby, and would forget all about it ten minutes later. But if she bought you a new ZX-10, you'd have a boner for a month. Men put value in the cost and the coolness of a gift and consequently, we think that women are the same.
So try it, one week buy her a 100 dollar heart neckless and note the reaction, then next week, buy her a single premium rose. You will see the identical reaction and duration.
