Day at the spa plus the flowers at work with the certificate, that would be really good but then again it depends on how badly you messed up. personaly i would suggest something that would be just for her, like the stuff mentioned above.
But a word about jewelry is that gold last a long time, and if she is like most women, then she will always remember the significance of that piece of jewelry,
that is why flowers are good and also the the spa/massage route, because she will feel good but will have nothing solid to hold on to and remember why she was mad at you. good luck!

yeah have to now with you getting married and all.
Also I guess i should give you the most important piece of advice;
as a man in marriage you have two choices:
1) be right: this is the one where you fight until she admits she is wrong (NEVER HAPPENS!! fight go on forever)
or
2) be happy: this is where you skip the fight and just say:"you are right honey, I love you."
so choose wisely.
