Default Pizza is disgusting.

I'm not against fast food, at all. But... most pizza, I generally only eat the toppings, as the crust is bland, extremely processed carbohydrate crap. Even then, most toppings are dry and you can tell they've been flash frozen and reheated on the pizza. I usually only eat all of a slice if it's from a local/family-owned eatery, and flavored with dried basil or other accoutrements. Bobby Flay is the chef of anything and everything grilled; a simple google search for him + pizza should bring up at least a few recipes. You can grill just about anything, as long as you have the right equipment. There are grill-safe skillets, you can wrap food in foil, ect. Where there's a will, there's a way. This is coming from a girl who is both a foodie and has a malfunctioning oven (yesterday I nearly recieved a fireball to the face trying to use it), and hasn't been able to traditionally bake for 8 months. I've found ways to create traditionally oven-baked foodstuffs utilizing the stovetop and an electric skillet. It's not that hard, once you get the grasp of temperature control.

Speaking of pizza, my roommate eats an entire frozen pizza every day! (Sometimes two.) Needless to say, he is a bit overweight. All I ever see him buy from the grocery store is 24 packs of coke, and a couple sacks full of frozen pizzas. (That is aprox. 95% of what he eats.)

I love pizza but I can hardly go out and eat it anymore. Take Pizza Hut for example, about the last three times I ate there it was horrable. The pizza was way to greasy, the crust is two thin even on the thick crust. And I think they changed there sauce a couple of years ago because over all it is just tasteless. The only place I will get pizza from is Papa Johns, I still really like there pizza. However it doesn't hold a candle to my wifes homemade pizza.
