FM, ya gotta get to New England sometime in your travels.
Food up here is way different then down yonder there.
But you's own the BBQ, it blows up here.

If you like snails, try it. Some serve it over a bed of lettuce stuff, to each his own. Real good with fried calamari, and swordfish steak, always good with Chowdah and clam cakes.

Snail Salad
5 pounds of snails, sliced thin
1 large red onion, sliced thin
1 large can black olives, sliced thin
3 large stalks of celery, sliced thin
3/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
fresh parsley & oregano

grab the biggest bowl in the house, add in all the ingredients,
cover it, let it sit overnight in the fridge.
A few hours before serving add some fresh chopped parsley
and a little bit of fresh oregano.

Currently living in Flatistan, not LA....but I do end up at ACME quite often noone the less...been meaning to adv around ma bayou... luv to ride with ya ... then mudbugs in the quarter.

Been a while since I've been to NE....mmmm smoked phish and main lobsters.

Yo, what is a good source to get snails in large quantities like that....down here the biggest can I see is like 8 oz...help.

id eat dirt before id eat seafood. only fish i can stand is sushi, and i only eat that for the health benefits. otherwise its sugary american junk for me
