New Toy
Yes, the tireballs "just worked." No drama. It was nice just showing up, not having to futz over tire pressure or anything, and not having to worry about to low of a pressure and risk a pinch flat. They hooked up great. I think I will pull off one or both tires this week just to check and see that all of them are still inflated and not busted or anything. They feel fine, I don't have any reason to think they might be, but just for a sanity check.
17th out of 24th not to bad for a guy with his ***** stuck in the tires. lol that would be my story
Hey, I got a 10th out of 21 in my class this weekend - good enough to bring home some hardware this time. So ... getting better.
The track this weekend, while epic in its awesomeness, had some pretty gnarly sections, though, with some really steep and rough climbs with bottlenecks that turned otherwise sane and rational human beings into idiotic loons, not to mention some tricky parts that made many seasoned veterans of the series look like first timers. But I seem to do a little better in those races as opposed to where all-out speed counts more. That's a nice way of saying I'm slow, but steady.
At least that's been the pattern so far.Hey, I'll take it. It's just for fun anyway, but doing pretty decent makes it even more fun.
And bringing a trophy makes the soreness on Monday much more bearable.
Oh, and for the 2nd race in a row, TireBalls are still going strong. And they really got a work-out this time. I haven't done a thing to them, haven't even pulled the tire off to see if any busted. No need, they continue to work great.
Ouch!
