New pics up in my gallery
Yeah, I still am trying to figure out how to do the wheels. I don't have a center stand, so pulling the wheels will be really tricky. I think Im going to hold off on them until winter when I store it in my friends garage and can work on it on a level surface. Im also not quite done appearance wise yet. I need to get some Ninja decals and Zx6r decals (since they dont seem to make zx600c decals) Im also getting new front blinkers to match the rears. Most of these goodies must wait though because a new front tire is in order first and foremost, second is a new right side mirror, third is a valid state inspection.
Hey what are you using to apply your paint. I have to paint some of my race body work and have 0 experiance.
BTW get front and rear stand for your bike better than any center stand.

Actually, if your looking to get it done the cheap way like I was, Krylon Fusion spray paint is the way to go. Sand down the body panels with 220 grit sand paper to scuff them up a little then paint light coats and sand again in between coats with 600 grit. I did 3 coats with 600 grit sanding in between each coat. Use Scotch Clean Release painters tape to mask off any stripes or whatever you wish to make. Of course using spray paint, you will never get that nice shine that a professional paint job will have and you can't wax it to shine it either. Im satisfied with the amount of shine and finish my paint has and the fact the paint was only like 3 bucks a can (total cost of the whole paint job was like $12, 3 for can of blue, 3 for can of black, 2 for 1" painters tape, 2 for 2" tape, 2 for sandpaper) Have fun and good luck. Remeber if yiou dont like the way it looks, you can always resand and paint again!
