Default my thoughts 40 mile ride

Ok, here is my honest opinion of my buell vs my late 636.

The buell def has more power ,hands down. Pulls hard as hell throught the whole rpm range. Does 125 with out hesitation. (not maxed just my top speed so far)(emmm that felt good) Zips in and out of traffic with no effort. Great riding position. guages are IMO alot nicer than the 636. I can see out of the mirrors, hmm what a concept LOL

Buell neg- front end def feels looser that the 636. Needs dampner. All the power in the world, but lacks the gearing. Will keep up with the 636 (assuming) but i feel the 636 will def out run it. The 636 is much quicker IMO due to the gearing. The buell is no super sport bike my any stretch of the imagination. But it has ***** and i like it. Kinda like the hemi of the bike world. Me likey hemi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all this is like compairing apples and oranges. I just had alot of questions on how it handled and compared to the 636. So there it is. Both are great bikes in there own way. 2 wheels is alway better than 4!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad your happy with it. I love how buells sound, There are a few in my area i see from time to time. How is the trunk space? I know with my 636 i could throw a vitamin water and 2 engery bars in it and it was full.

My buddy Paul has one, and he loves it. They are nice rides. I like the split analogue gauges too, it took me awhile to get used to the tach running outside of the speed-o on my 636. I didn't think I would like the all digital deal, but now it's all good. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Glad to hear you finally got out and rode it! I didn't think it would compare too closely to the 636, but like you said....apples and oranges! Gear up and be safe!
