Man, awesome ride today!! Me and the wife decided to go for a ride up to capitan mountain.... Didn't get a lot of pics, but a couple, so thought I'd share!! They had Lincoln National Forest closed and Bonita Lake closed because of high fire danger.... for those that are not familiar with this area, Roswell, where I'm at, is at 3500 feet, and in Flat lands desert... 70 miles west is Ruidoso and Capitan mountain at 11,000 feet elevation with a ski resort and a little tourist town.. They have a bike rally there 2 a year with around 50,000 bikes each time.. So the cool thing about that is there's bike parking everywhere and us Bikers get a lot of respect and people watch out for us... Everybody waves, other Sport Bikes, harleys and cagers... it was an awesome trip... wish yall coulda been there with me... Lots of twisties... some serious S curves... 70 mph speed limit, with 25 mph S curves.. Very Nice..
