That is an awesome looking bike Mr. Toad! You must be so excited! You'll get out of your neighborhood on her soon enough - so don't rush it, you'll know when you're ready to go futher!

You could check out the Icon boots - I've heard a lot of good things about them. As for pants, I have textile pants with armour and a removable liner (they are made by Rhyno - not sure if you can get them down there), but you should probably go to a place where they sell gear, try a few pairs out and go from there.
