He took it like a champ, no one laughed because we were all scared we would be next. He was like 5'2" and riding one of those 650(?)dual purpose Kawis. Way too tall for him. Brand new. What a fool.

I'm in NJ. The state has a free class but even getting up early to call as soon as they opened I could never get through to take the free class so I took the MSF class which, at least here, the state gives you a waiver on the driving portion of the test if you pass the MSF class test. I think it was about $200 bucks. More than I wanted to pay butI thought the classwas actuallyworth it for the 3 or 4 day sessions. Haven't dropped it yet or even come closeafter 6,000 miles of riding now.

i found a place to do it for $115. i take the class augest 11,12.

Here in Washington State its is $225.00 but they are subsidised by the state, and so they offer a certain number per month at a discounted $125.00. I have heard that some of the places offer the class to younger riders for $50.00.
