Does the colour of skin matter? SRSLY? Yes I'm a bleeding heart liberal, but my mind isn't so open my brain falls out. I look at the issues I see who's running and base that on who I think will do better.

Lots of interesting posts in here. Lots of good discussion (and yes, I like beer too).

The Black argument doesn't hold water: Barack Obama is Kenyan, Muslim, and comes from an Arab background - he just looks black. Mostly all of his upbringing is radical in nature. I don't give a rip if he was purple or a war hero. Listen to the content of what he is saying.

The truely scary thing is not only that he doesn't have a shread of qualification, but the problem of "checks and balances". One man cannot wreak anarchy on the Presidency, it takes a combined vote of Congress to do that. If Obama gets elected, that means the Pres, the Speaker of the House and the majority of Congress are now Democratic. We will be in for an ugly ride if that happens. Democrats like to spend, and have no qualms about raising taxes to do it. Socialize it? why not, its free-thinking! Group hug, love your enemy and maybe he'll leave you alone (fat chance). Sub-prime lending was made mandatory by Democratic vote, and look where we are now.

McCaine? The lesser of two evils. His prime is gone and his visual health shows it. Time in a Tiger Cage takes its toll on you and changes your outlook on life. Lets hope he still has something left for four years. If he wins, I highly doubt you'll be seeing eight.

Lastly, think of this: Obama has spent more in four months than the collective advertising budget of four major corporations in a whole year! He took public money after he said he wouldn't. Extreme exposure fosters popularity in the younger masses. That's what got Kennedy elected over Nixon. Don't think the Electoral College doesn't pay attention to the popular vote when making decisions.

honstly i believe obama is gonna win by a land slide. If mcain wants to win he is gonna have to play dirty. He will have to play the on the fact that obamas preacher damns america, plus hes muslim background needs to come up even more. That is the only way mcain will win, but he doesnt want to do that, The every day american does not like muslims cuz of the fact of what happened on 9-11

I do and do it quite often, towel heads are usually small, smelly and weak ..... never met one I could not take out without concern for my personal safety, and I live in S. Florida and we got loads of them.

Most just want the same as you and me......family, money and security.

Every group has their extremist .... just look at Waco.

Don't get sucked into hate

Electoral College Update...let me link it....I have not checked in a while..hmmm..lol

Well the same website has Obama with 364 and McCain with 157 .... but enough close states so it could go either way.....remember all the media had Kerry winning, well we know what voters had to say about that.

If Obama wins then the election is perfectly fair. If he loses then the voting machines were rigged, people were dissenfranchised, and black people were intimidated into not voting.

I personally don't see how the dems can lose this race with ACORN registering everyone from Mickey Mouse to Thundarr the Barbarian and an Ohio judge ruling that a registered voter's residence be no less cryptic than a park bench on 'Apricot Lane'.

At this rate maybe I'll register as Jean Luc Picard next election cycle and come to the polls dressed in a Star Fleet uniform.
