HELL YES!! the kx500 is in the top 3 fastest production dirtbikes, EVER! will wreck any 650 4-stroke. almost had one to... but then i drained the bank on a zzr

 

Yeah I know Srob, I looked at Wings but they just dont have character. It is just too big looking and I dont like Hondas. I figure the Harley would retain more value as well. I wasn't looking for a jumbo jet, just something more comfortable than the 14 for road trips with chicks. And more chicks like Harleys than wings, I think. Plus, I have met some strange people that ride wings. Cant quite put a finger on it but they are not the kind of people I blend in with. It seems that most people that ride wings are yuppies that spend more time waxing their wings and babying their bikes than partying and raising hell, I dont know that's just my perspective. I just liked the Harley better!

 

harleys suck.... boooo..... lol.... IMO wayyyy over priced, especially used ones. To each thier own.... as long as your happy.... ill never have one in my garage.....

 

You are right EMS, they are over priced, but most Harley riders suck more than the bikes do! Because of owning my Fatboy, I have found that they are very dependable machines that have a lot of american history behind them.
I also like the character they have, lot's more than a Gold Wing even though they are more primative machines.
I guess I'm just old fashion!

 

atleast one guy at my work has one of those - not my thang but certainly has the features of a car if you just don't want to be in a cage.

 

i like the old harleys - well i like old bikes in general - i'd love to have one of the WW2 bikes with sidecar like indianna jones used
