i'm glad to hear your friend is ok.... was he all geared up? like wearing full protection? what caused him to go down @ 80 mph? and i would have to say, he was pretty luck to just walk away with just cuts and bruises...

 

We were on an espressway and he cuaght some gravel on an overpass and down he went. He had all his gear except for his shoes. He had raod rash on one of his ankles but that was it. He said it felt like his whole body was broke, very sore for a while. i am glad he was okay to. He has been riding for a few years now and it was scary to see him go down like that. I had to ride my bike home and get my car to go to the hospital. I had no idea what condition he was in because meds got there quick. It was a very scary ride home for me, something I will never forget.

 

well glad to hear he's ok and also glad to know that you didn't get tangled up in that mess.... ya it's always hard watching a friend go down..... i've seen it a few time myself and the bad thing is, theres nothing you could do to help that person.... except ride it out.... gear up and ride safe....thanks for sharing.....

If you ride two wheels down, whether a Beemer, sportbike or a cruiser. I would have no problem with the ride. Just does not matter to me except that my fellow riders and I are feeling freedom again. I have not ridden on the street since '91 but the feeling is the same.

 

As of now the only people I have ridin with is a couple of budies. One had a F4i (sold it) and the other a duc. monster w/916 swap with a lot carbon fibre, looks real nice. Some other friends have gsxr, r6, dualsport, 636, R1. Havent had a chance to ride with them yet, but soon.

it's going very well, i got off early from work today the sun was out and so was the bike...... so i hit two bike shop and checked out some new gear from myself... didn't see anything i liked so i went on riding... went to the beach and watched abunch of guys surfing in bone chilling water.... after 5 minutes of that i rode again.... life is good here in cali...

Harley riders still dislike jap bikes.... But what ever..... For me its
all about the ride........ slow / fast ,what ever ... A good ride is like
makin love to a beautiful woman....... Sorry ladies..... I'm not
about to use men anywhere in that....... Now if MAD KAW wrote
this he would be usin Rainbow colors ........J/K MAD KAW.....
