motorcycle salave yard? there is one and they want like 150 bucks for a used headlight. I was just going to mount a cheap driving light from like the parts store but the shop said it wouldn't pass inspection, it needs to be dot approved. I thought about fabricating a housing for a car headlight but I don't have anyidea on how to do it without messing up the currend mounting bracket

since the bike is so far gone, why not just go all out and make it a street fighter ? as far as all the stock stuff, trash it and if you have the ability to fabricate, go to town. you can get most if not all the metal at a yard and they usually just throw scaps away and if at all you would need mabey 2 feet of some type of stock. get that pig going. or if you need the help and know exactly what you want. draw it up and send me the dimentions and ill build it for you.

i have the ability, but I don't really have the access to all the tools needed, ie welder and torch. its just i want the superbike look bike. I've thought about a streetfighter, but once I do it I can't reverse it without buying new mounting brackets. My biggest concern is the headlight. any idea of how to mount a headlight. apc sells 5" and 7" round housing and they sell a square headlight. but they are designed for direct replacement on cars. any idea why i can't use the driving/fog lights as headlights?

i have but e bays been slow as hell on zx7 parts. i dont know about in your area but here, as long as the driving lights say dot on them then there good. i installed a set on 6 baja bugs to retain the street legality allthough these cars have no business being on the streets
