My dad has a 73 3/4 ton chevy long bed camper special with a 454, he rebuilt the motor and put all the parts from the 427 69 corvette in it, cam, fuel pump and such, he has glass packs on it mmmmmm..... love that sound of a cam'ed big block idling..... He has had the truck since 74..... Longer than he has had me!!!! lol

Gotta love that split bumper!!! Very Sweet. Very nice motor!

I wouldnt mind a SuperCharger but I am starting to like thebenifits of the Turbos. I got buddies with both and the driveability of the turbo seems better. I dont know but enough to get me in trouble with either so I may be wrong. I do know Forced Induction is a good thing[sm=badbadbad.gif]. Maybe one of those Banks Twin Turbo setups sometime on the truck but not until its time to rebuild.

Have you worked with the Demon carbs before? I have a buddy that built a 383 high compression motor and couldnt seem to get the carb dialed in. Cant remeber the size though. He ended up swapping to the same size Edelbrock with alot better results. Never could figure out what was wrong with the carb. Couldnt get it running right on a couple differant motors.
