I like Vista. I don't really do anything that Vista has problems with, so for me it's good

 

Helping my friend set up his new Vista laptop was such a PITA!!![:'(] The worse thing about Vista is all the damn pop-ups warning you about this and that. Why does Vista have to warn you about possible malicious files when it's installing a windows update? There are just too many pop-ups. And how about the GUI.[:@] It is all pretty eye candy, but absolutely worthless, and slows you down. There doesn't seem to be anything worthwhile you can do on Vista that XP doesn't already do.

 

It's really convenient. I like the fact that I can check to see if a new page is loaded by mousing over the task bar. Great feature.

 

Deej, I think that you are having an impact. MS stock has already started to drop just on the anticipation of your complaint.

the biggest problem with MS is that they muscle themselves into the market with inferior products.
I am talkign about the corporate world, where you can work on a good tool and then microsoft comes in with their typical garbage, but they send gifts and t-shirts, so that the the bean counters at a company will push to use their inferior product thereby screwing over the programmers,. MS just creates the illusion that you are saving money.
meanwhile what is really happening is that because of MS product more production support is needed, more servers are needed to handle the same workload that one unix server could handle easily, etc.

Yes I love the task bar, I have our web cam, outlook, and other cool gadgets on there, very cool feature.
