it gets really crazy in this area around this time of year. So far in the past week there has been 4 deaths and another 5 or 6 injury crashes. One of them hit close to home for me. A close friend of a friend that I had meet once to ride with was rear ended by a car. He had his wife on the back of the bike. She was thrown from the bike got some really bad rash on her knee and broke her nose. Her husband my friends friend shatered bones in his face and now has to have reconstructive face surgry. If it weren't for his lid he would have been dead.
man.. thats an absolute atrocity.
that cager otta be drug out into the middle of a parkinglot and shot in the stomach.
thats what scares me.. we have some A+ drivers from the D.C. area that feel they own the raod and everything in it. that, coupled with the douchebags that drive enibriated just always have me on edge when i'm doing in-town driving.. i try to stay on the backroads as much as possible.. i'm thankful i have that option. i know many don't.
sorry to heart about your friends. my prayers go out to them on a expedient recovery, and justice to be served.
