I think there is a statistic that that shows they typically return after 5-10 years.

supposed to be some ridiculous rain today. like 5 inches maybe more in my area. slightly concerned actually....Last time this happened it caused major flooding in my area. I live against the foothills on a raised foundation. Not too worried about my place but others the neighborhood.

Just heard that on NPR on the way into work. They said some areas may get up to 8 inches on ground that is already saturated.

Crazy winter indeed.

we lot's of places don't have any absorption left. It's all run off now or pool up.


going to make for a bad summer too. the Bugs will be some next level.

yes, CA reporting this morning.
We've had some flooding. Nothing catastrophic, but it's making life very tough for dairymen and farmers. Wildlife winter kill will be significant.

On a brighter note, just went home for lunch and pulled the vstrom out to ride back to the office.
