Thank you worlok.......I also am an assoholic ; and Drag you can surley stay away from this "Tom"

I did a dyno this weekend with the new truck-- the old truck, now owned by my son also was dynoed..........

old--2001 dodge 377/850... 20mpg
new--2006 dodge 510/1000... 18mpg
This dyno is the best "real" numbers you can get..... hydro/water break dyno.
its alot like pulling a sled so many people don't like 'em; it can easily find the weak spot on a vehical.

hey wedge, did that truck just idle through the testing? That end comment of it not sounding like it was working sounded true.

Fly your flag and thank a vet. 68 years ago today, they were hitting the beaches at Normandy. D-day.
Never forget.

A lot of people think black smoke = work , its actually waste power and heat.
Turbo was spooled to 40 psi and purpose was sitting at a solid 1200.
If you see black smoke you need more air and if you don't see any smoke you need fuel .....mines grey when spooled black down low.
4.10 gears 37 inch tires 18 mpg and laughing at fords all day!

My son bought my "old" truck and it put down 377/850 and gets 20 mpg with 35s

BTW it just flipped 250,000 miles

I will agree with ya on that. It is an internal combustion engine and the basics still stand true to form.
