This sucks, I went out side to take the ninja to work and it wouldn't start. Guess the cold temps are letting the old battery show its age. Called around the cheapest battery in stock is at cycle gear and its 100 ouch. I knew it was coming just didn't think it would give up this soon.

 

Yeow!! 100 smacks for a 14LA2 (or something pretty close to that.)??
Try WalMart. Bring your old one with you.

 

I found a cheaper one but they have to order it. The 100 one was what they had in stock. the cheap one is 60 but takes 3-4 days to get in. I ordered the cheap one and I'm picking up a battery tender to use on the bike in the mean time.

 

That sounds closer ($50-60) for an EverStart or other lead-acid job.
(Double-check your electrolyte level.)

 

Its one of those sealed non maintenance ones.
I can't wait wednesday I get the bike dyno tuned. I'm really curious as to what kind of numbers it puts out before and after the tune.

 

I'l all excited like a little kid before Christmas. I get to have the 10 dyno tuned today. I love watching stuff like that and can't wait to see what kind of numbers it puts down before and after.
