squid as in a reckless motorcycle rider or someone who wears shorts shirt and tennis shoes when they ride type. In CA a lot of people refer to those kinds of riders as squids
Urban Dictionary: squid

what years of ninja should I look for when buying a new front master cylinder? Would stock zx10 steel braided lines work with the different master?

I believe it was 05-07 6rrs on the m/c and calipers. I run an 07 nissin set of calipers on my 06 10r. I went with Braided lines, so not sure on the factory 6rr lines, but should work if you buy the m/c, lines and calipers from the same bike. I think that the stock 10r braided lines did not work properly on the m/c because of the angle of the banjo bolt/fitting. You are making me think now....lol

too much money for that and I am not sure if that would fit the 7/8 clipons or not either. Seems like the 6rr stuff is the way to go for compatibility with little or no shims or modifications needed. ie cbr, The 14 may work, and it should work but I cannot remember if that setup was used during my reading. Have you searched the 10r.net site on these questions yet?

I'm about to go to the 10R site now. I have not set up an account yet just wanted to see you might know so I wouldn't have to.
