bummer on the losses wedge. My pops passed on christmas morning last year. It sucks, but things happen. Sorry about your losses though. and now you will be trying out the S1000. ya gonna track it? I debated on that ride as well. But I have not mastered my 10r yet so I said I would wait. Keep us up to date.

sorry to hear about the losses Wedge. I lost my father about 3 years ago just after xmass. My mom passed about 9 years ago now. The holidays are rough for me since I don't have family other then close friends.

On a better note. You lucky S.O.B. Let us know how that s1000R is. Did you get the bare bones one or one with all the bells and whistles? What made you pick the S1000R over the other liter bikes?

ALL the bells and whistles! the reviews across the board peaked my interest and then I rode it! Amazing was all I can say after the ride.........my oldest son Travis is going to buy the 900rr from me. My Bio dad had insurance that did not get used up taking care of my step mom ($8K month at the rest home) before she died so I look at the bike as kind of a final gift from them. Got it all waxed up now; and some extra bits and pieces put on...........time to break it in!

Hey Wedge, sorry I missed this thread, and sorry about the loss you are experiencing. We need to ride again. Is Tahuya open still?

Tahuya is open all year long! I'll have to double check for this year to see if anything is closed for improvments

got that sweet full exhaust on I'm thinking its time for the 351 kit since I made room for the extra air!

well time heals all......... but a sweet BMW helps the time go just a little smoother. It is kind of a BIG final gift.
