Default Holiday traveling...

I am now one of the 3 million plus people thats gonna
travel this holiday season.. We meaning "the family" are leaving
East Tenn. early wed, morning to goto south fl. for a hot meal
and spend time w/ the family ...OH JOY.. I'd rather have a
colonoscopy with a sony handy cam and no lube.... Don't
get me wrong I'm love the holidays but hate the BS involved.
Anyone else feel this way ?

Sometimes I get like that. Last Christmas was a potential disaster. What we do is one year we will have x-mas dinner with my family and then the next year, we go to my in-laws. Anyways the year before last, we were at the in-laws and then last x-mas my brother-in-law and his wife were visiting from Alabama, so naturally the in-laws wanted us to come up again. I didn't want to go, I wanted to spend it with my family (my grandmother is 86 so potentially, I don't have very many x-mas dinners left with her).

Anyways, to avoid conflict, I told everyone to come to my place. I cooked x-mas dinner for 15 people - THAT WAS FUN, not!

Just eat as much turkey as you can possibly stuff into ya - it makes you sleepy then you can go take a nap!!!! That's what I do, sometimes.
