RE: handguns
nice gun ems, ive has a p85 for about 13 years, still kicking *** today. as far as the 45 cal, me personally i would stay away from the p series ruger, now, ruger has a kp series in 45 thats a really nice gun, well built, good feel, and all that, only problem is its a 7 shot. look into para for a power packed carry if thats your intentions.

RE: handguns
Thanks, yea i like the gun alot. I bought it used, have fired hundreds through it, not a single jam or anything. I wasnt necessarily going to get a ruger .45, but 45 is my next caliber. Maybe colt. Im still new to handguns... im not gonna try to pretend i know alot.. I work with a guy that bought the s&w .50 cal revolver.... DAMN..... that thing is huge....

RE: handguns
My duty weapon was a 9mm Taurus PT92 Stainless. I personally fired over 12,000 rounds through it without a hitch. Awesome gun with the safety in the correct location (unlike the Beretta). My backup/off-duty was a Kimber Ultra Carry. There are no words to describe this gun across the board other than awesome. If you want to feel how a 45 is supposedto feel, shoot, be balanced and work - shoot a Kimber. Any Kimber. Anything else is just playing catch-up.
