Default Good but really crappy weekend

Well had an awesome weekend as far as getting out for rides! The weather was awesome and had a blast.

The crappy part, on Sunday my four year old was out on her 4 wheeler in the yard and she came off it. She ended up fracturing her elbow and went in for surgery to put her arm back together. She is doing pretty good though - she's one tough little thing though, she only cried a couple of times and handled everything real well.

Ouch... Glad to hear she's doing OK. I broke my femer as a kid, but I can't imagine an elbow... Hope she heals up quick!

Oh, and tell her to stop doing those wheelies in the back yard... too many bumps to do it safely.

Thank god she hasn't tried wheelies on the 4 wheeler yet! Mind you she does them on her tricycle!! She'll stand on the back of it and pull the handle bars up! Pretty cute to see her doing that!

She tried some high speed cornering on the front lawn! She was coming towards where I was standing and I was just about to tell her to slow down when she turned the wheels to the left - then she and the bike were air born.

The surgeon figures she'll have her cast off in three weeks - I can't believe how fast kids heal up!

that sucks! Glad she's ok though! Only 3weeks, she'll stll have plenty of summer left. As a kid, I broke my wrist thru the growth plate (regulates the growth of your hand I guess), and I had to have a cast for almost all summer. I went swimming w/ it anyway[sm=devilgrin.gif] When her arm gets itchy, use a chilled wire coat hanger, works awesome.

HAH! I got so far as "Mind you she does them on her tricycle!!" and started wondering to myself... Man.. how would you do that... I mean, the pedals are on the front wheel... [&:]

Then, I read on... and realized how stupid that was... hehe...
