Hope not. NC is no stranger to hurricanes. I've lived here for 11 years. We just missed Fran in '95 which is the one most folks folks around here talk about. Floyd, Bonnie, Isabel, among others have passed through here since then. They're mostly just tropical storms by the time they reach us, though. Fran was still a hurricane, though, but I wasn't here for that one.

Hopefully Hanna follows that purple path.
