Congrats I remember my first ride on my bike and it was awsome. How would you say it compares to the other 250 you had? Such as comfort and performance and stuff.

Awesome, good for you. It def gets hot in all that gear which is why I ride at night sometimes int he summer. Good luck and be safe!

Do you you have gear with the mesh in the front, that is usually a lot cooler.

Never too hot to ride. Just means you gotta go a little faster to stay cool

Get in the mentality of when you are riding - you are going to get hot, nasty, and dirty. Consider it just part of riding in the summertime... cause that one time you go without gear will be when you wreck. Murphy's law. Think of it this way - if you think it's hot in all that gear, imagine how hot pavement scraping skin at 60+mph is gonna feel. Yeah... exactly. Sweat a little - it's part of riding. Stay hydrated.

Gratz on the bike - looks good, and is leagues ahead of the old school 250 in engineering and handling. Spend a season or 2 on this, and you will be ready for a 600, and all the advantages in handling it will give you

Congrats. Bike looks good. Enjoy it and ride the wheels off it.
