RR> Just so happens that as the ZZR and the ZX9 share just about every nut and bolt.

Best investment I made was the Corbin seat... cause the stock one sucks ***. Make that - HURTS ***. $180 @ dk.

2nd best investment (initially) was the ZeroG double bubble windscreen.

You are right about keeping pressure off the wrists. Park it next to a ZX6 or GSXR600 or 600RR and you will see that the bar ends are almost 4 inches higher than any of those. There is a little bit of sacrifice that comes with that however - you will need to use a lot more body english to plow it into hard turns and corners - as with you being more upright it will fight you a bit more.

Once you get the seat - taking that thing on extremely long trips should be no problem. It is rather comfy for a sportbike. I put 18k on it last year and 15k on this year (would have done more, but I had a warranty issue on replacement rotors, and I bought a house/painted/moved). Next year: 20k.

I did get a lot of strange looks from the cagers around me because for most of the trip I didn't get over 80 mph (the speed limit is 70) and they were seeing the kind of bike I ride and expecting me to do some retarted stuff on one wheel.

I got retarted a couple of times when I had a long straight stretch to myself, but for the most part, I ride safely and carefully.
