You don't want that BB. You're too good for it. Most CEO execs don't even know what it is they actually are selling anymore. They have been taught how to suck out as much money as they can from a corp per quarter even if it means leaving all the employees and shareholders with a massive tab as they slip away from the bar(ex. Enron and TYCO). Although he may have been just as rich, powerful, and greedy John Rockefeller at least was an industrialist rather than a businessman and knew what he was selling. These guys only see green.

There are three gas stations in the town that I live in, one of them always put the price of gas up immediately, one of them would wait until the next morning and the last one, would leave their price down - until they had to refill their tanks. Guess which one I bought gas from. But know we have this regulation system in place - the provincial government sets a max price that can be charged to consumers. This max price is adjusted every two weeks - its kind of nice. But the crappy part is that it never goes down in price.

that idea although seemingly good on paper apparently has the same effect as a minimum wage. If I am not mistaken in your case, the maximum price also becomes a minimum price. Similar to that, a minimum wage can become a maximum wage. It's the feds that screw everything up...

Oh yeah the max price has definately become the minimum! The only nice thing is that you know its the same price everywhere for two weeks. The main reason that they brought in the regulation was to stop the prices from fluctuating so much. Nothing more annoying than filling up at $1.20/litre and then the next day its down to $1.10. But guaranteed, when the two weeks is up, the price goes up again. Oh well, part of life now, no use in wasting time crying over it!
