Default Don't Go to Northgate Motorcycles...a lil venting.

For anyone who lives in Western PA.
I took my bike to Northgate Motorcycles on 9/13, and i called last night and they have not even started to look at it, so from 9/16-9/19 it sat there. When i dropped it off they said they would look at it in a day or so. 6 days go past without them even looking at it to tell me whats wrong with it. I was pissed they just kept saying they would get to it the next day, so i had enough. These are the same people that when i took my bike to have the valve clearances checked they forgot to put a side cover bolt in, and gave me a hard time about them having to replace the bolt they lost, and when they put the gas tank back on they pinched the coolant line between the frame and the tank. So i was pretty pissed yesterday that they havent looked at it, so i found another dealer Beaver County Bike works, and i went and took my bike from Northgate Motorcycles and took it to the other dealer that will look at it today. Thats uncalled for to have my bike and just keep saying that they will get to it tomorrow, and never getting to it. So tell everyone you know to stay away from Northgate motorcycles. I was so pissed yesterday, theres no reason for that.[:@][:@][:@]

Well i called the dealer that has my bike now, and he thaught it was the timing chain tensioner, but it wasnt, so now he is starting to take the motor apart, today he is going to take the cylinder apart and get into the crankshaft. Ill call him later to see where he is at... 6 days at the other place and nothing, 1 day at this place and half the motor is ripped apart.... bastards.

yea finally, i called him again, he said he ordered parts, new exhaust cam, and some other things, the valve clearance on the intake was so tight that there was no clearance... im sure theres more, its all covered under warranty so no $ out of my pocket.

Cool - sounds like it might be the same problem as Deej experienced? Partially at least.
