well guys it sounds like i had the same problem as deej... i think i let mine go longer and it was alot louder than yours deej, i called yesterday to get an idea when it will be done, the mechanic said that he ordered an exhaust cam which comes with the compression release. and he said the valve clearances are off so he is going to fix them too.. He said the parts usually take about 4 days to get so i should get my bike back end of this week or beginning of next week. It wasnt the bottom end like that other shop thaught, i was kinda wondering about that, cause if it was lower end it would make the noise all the time, but if i was above 5500 rpm's it was quiet, but from like 3500 to 5300 it was "ticking" really loud... i would have my damn bike back already if i would have taken it to this shop first, but noooo... that other shop had to screw around and do nothing for 6 days...grrrrrrr..
