Had a friendbreak off his right foot peg this weekend (1 mph dump) and had to ride home with his foot on the heel gaurd for about 40 miles... Not to mention his bruised ego.

 

hmmm finally someone else who is in Montana. I live in Billings. No I have never dropped my bike and hopefully I wont. Welcome to the forum.

 

Dropped my first bike... a zx6. crested a hill with the front brakes on cause I knew there would be a stop sign on the other side... well just over the crest the city had decided to tear up the road and lay down gravel for new pavement.... bike went one way, I went the other. The ONE TIME I did not wear gloves, cause I had left my gf's house and ran "just down the street" to get a sandwich. That's when it happens.

 

Maybe not the first time that I rode, but I drop my rides at least once a year.

 

lol Dont want them getting soft on ya, bruise em up from time to time. Builds character.

 

i have dropped my bike over a dozen times.... no on asphalt though.... no damage yet... gotta love the bark busters...They save levers.

 

Too bad people would be like: WTF are those things? If I put them on the ninja! lol

 

But no, I technically have never downed my bike! hahaha. It did fall over once on it's own because the kickstand wasn't fully retracted. That was on the KZ750.
