So I'm back and everything went well. On the way to the docs office i picked up a kick starter kit for the wife's bike, and a new battery.

I priced one for the KLX and they wanted $340.00 for the kit. I guess that will have to wait for a while. The kit for her bike was only $105.00. And they actually had one on the shelf. All the instructions came in Japanese so I went on the XT 225 site and downloaded the English version.

When she went on the girls ride the bike kept having to be push started and it seems that you only get about 5 seconds for the bike to start and then its done and just clicks. When I got home, believe it or not being all drugged up and having numb nuts...literally I still installed the battery to see if that was indeed the problem, and now the bike turns over so fast its like the spark plug is out.

I'm going to tackle this project soon, and I'm sure it will give me the confidence to do the one on the KLX when I can scrape up the money. Well the drugs are kicking in again so I think I'll go lay down for a while, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and kicking.....speaking of kicking, it feels like someone kicked me in the nads, but hopefully that will pass soon.

Ok so 2 days after the surgery, I just couldn't stand it any longer, so I got our in the garage, blue ***** in all and installed the kick starter on the wife's bike. Here are a few pics.

Not sure why, but over on the 225 site the guy that posted his install took off the starter, you don't have to do that on the bike.

Now I think I have the confidence to install the kick starter on the KLX. Well that's it for today, I need a drink or two or some pills or a combination of both, YIKES!!!! I think I over did it. Now I know what it feels like to get kicked in the nads by a horse.

Deej, how bad does it hurt to evacuate your chamber. Do you scream because it feels good, or because it hurts?
Since you are being a grease monkey, I take it that you are feeling better.
Take care Bro!
