Yup, after experiencing the track, street riding is dangerous in comparison. Ok, I am off topic again.
Actually, you are perfectly on topic... it is exactly why Deal's Gap is WTF.

yeah goin to a track would definatly have its benefits for sure. you go there and you can go all out and if you bite it there arent on comin cars to run you over. so yeah track over deals anyday. it just wont stop morons from goin there and bein stupid. or it wont stop someone goin there on vacation and stopin by the gap. unfortunatly cops are makin that hard for people to just go enjoy there vacation down there

I would love to go up to Deals Gap. I don't need to rip through it like a cheetah test driving a lamborghini on exstasy. I realize that people automatically thnk you are going to do something stupid just because you ride a sport bike, but that doesn't mean I have to oblige them. I am not going to get a ninja to break the sound barrier.

Now that being said, cops writing tickets for stupid crap like license plate location would suck the fun out of it

Completely agreed - problem is - you can only speak for yourself... and you know in the back of your mind that at least 50% of the other folks there are acting like complete tools. You in your mind are not the variable... other people - on the otherhand - are.

so true guys. I value my common sense, my stupidness, and the other possibilities around me. I do like good scenery though.
