Go big or go home....10r for the win! Those 10r's have lots of goodies on them. I dont know what they are askin for the 10r at your dealership. I like the looks of the r1's but thats about it.

 

well everyone i'm not going to get the r1 right now. I'm going to hold off in till the 2012 zx10r comes out to the dealerships here. They sold out of all of the 2011's around me. I'm kind of partial to Kawasaki since my zx6r has done me good since i've had it and the parts for the r1 are too expensive that i would invest in. The parts for the zx10 are a lot better priced. So i'll let everyone know what i do here in the future in getting some thing new.

 

That traction control technology in the 10r is awesome! You can pretty much put any joe blow on it and take them to the track haha. Wouldnt recommend it though unless it wasnt yer bike haha. I've never been a fan of yamahas engineering. Just cheap lookin and a PITA to do normal maintenance on. Their raptor atvs are a joke.

 

well i went with a z1000. I've always like the looks of this bike got a good deal too.

looking for an exhaust, maybe a fender eliminator, and i'm not to sure what else is out there kind of looking right now.

I agree that the Z1000's are a rough/tough looking ride. After the **** End is cleaned up that is. A nice streetable ride from the looks and sounds of it.

 

I got a 2011. The last one in the area. I'm happy with my purchase. Got it out the door less than $8900 so i think it was a good deal in the end. And get this a guy was there and was going to buy my old 06 zx6r from them too. He was all over it.
