Yeah, I have the same type of "insurance" on my Vaio laptop. That cost me over $400![:@] Funny thing is if the computer has software errors, they won't do a damn thing to fix it under warranty. But I could just "accidentally" drop it off my balcony and they'll cover that.
I have had all sorts of buggy software problems with my laptop, and the idiots at best buy say they can't cover it. These problems started happening almost immediately after using it too!

best buy can lick *****. i have a 3 year warranty, its a no questions no fault deal, if they have the notebook in stock or the ability to get it, they will, if they cant they will apply the purchase price to whatever other pc i want or just give me a store credit, all for 149 bucks.
i did the same deal on my printer/ do it all machine and it wouldnt scan, i called up staples and they said bring it down, plugged it in and the button wouldnt flash so they gave me a new one, turns out it was nothing but they went with the next model up as well as they didnt have the one i bought in stock.
best buy can power lick sack

yes indeed, the geek squad are a bunch of stupid asses. i had so many problems with them coming out and NOT knowing what they were doing or even how to do certain things. last time they tried to charge me to come out and not do anything because the geek "wasnt familier" with a certain router. charge this buddy [sm=violent053.gif]
