Us, peoples from the midwest must be way behind the times. I've never heard of clear car bras before. Do they actually make them for bikes? Or do you have to form them yourself?

 

Sounds like (from the reading) that they are more trouble than they are worth. Not for me, but maybe if someone has one, we could see the pics and get their opinion on it.

 

I work with a guy whos son does window tinting and those clear paint covers..... there is good money in that, he got into the high end dealers, BMW, benz, and stuff...... its just like tint, and he has a plotter/ cutter, and he gets the stuff in rolls and cuts it out with the plotter for specific vehicles.

There's a few shots of the process. It's all custom cut then applied & it's damn near impossible to see. I like it.

No, it's all machine cut. They have pre-made templates & a professional company called Speed Shields here in SJ installed it.

 

humm.. why dont they just do the whole car... lol.. u know in case u hit a bug while in reverse or somthing.

 

...It's not meant to do anything for bugs. It's to prevent rock chips.
