i just went and picked the lac up from the shop.

total was $826.96, including inspection

registration, with vanity license plate "4mpglol" $156.50

total cost so far $1583.46

still to come: scrape the ground suspension, window tint, black out lights, neon, pipes and the big hitter.. the floaters.

hell yeah. handles like a dream to. it must have one hell of a power steering pump.. i can piratically steer it by breathing on the wheel

 

Those floaters are weird. It looks like the car is skidding across the pavement.......er, well, floating.

 

wow. talk about a shotty job. first thing first, to fill yall in... in in cambridge right now. newhampshire is in a state of emergency... but more on that later. long story short, there are 2 working gasstations in town and the line is about half an hour long, so im in line waiting and the ****** overheated.. that can be expected out of a 501cubic inch engine idling for 20minutes. however, most cars dont have an overflow tank that blows up. the top cracked from one end to the other and antifreeze boiled out and all over my alternator. i had to spend more than half of my gas $ on fresh antifreeze premix and spent another 20 minutes at pump 2 refilling and cooling my car. lucky for me it was about 3 degrees out so i was able to continue driving it without a problem. im thinking im gonna pay chrises (mechanic that "fixed" it) 1969 camaro visit he said it was all set to drive and everything was stable. cheap ***.

he also said the alternator was good. kept stalling when i took it out today and the generator light kept coming on. no charging problems my ***.
